Akshay Kumar said about the poor performance of Bollywood films: I have to understand what the audience wants and then make changes
Akshay Kumar recently talked about the poor performance of Bollywood films at the box office. Akshay said at the trailer launch of his upcoming film 'Katputli' that we need to understand what the audience wants in films. At the same time, he said that we cannot blame anyone else for the failure of our films.
During the trailer launch of 'Katputli', Akshay was questioned about the poor performance of Bollywood films. To this Akshay said, "The films are not working because of our lack. The film didn't work because of my mistake. I have to make some changes. I have to understand what the audience wants. I want to make changes from my side." Why blame someone else for the flop of films, but I blame myself for this thing."
Akshay surprised everyone by performing a puppet dance at the event. The director of the film Ranjit M Tiwari told that Katputli is inspired by the South film. "The film is inspired by Ratsasan. It was never named Mission Cinderella, it was always Titus's puppet. We have shot the film in Mussoorie and Uttarakhand," he said.
It is shown in the trailer that the story of the film is set in a small town Kasauli. The story of the film is about the police and a serial killer. Akshay Kumar and the entire police team look for the killer. The film will be streamed on the OTT platform from September 2.
Akshay has many films apart from Katputli. Akshay is currently shooting for 'Surai Potru'. He also has 'Ram Setu' with Jacqueline Fernandez and Nushrat Bharucha. Akshay has also shot for 'Oh My God 2' with Yami Gautam and Pankaj Tripathi.
