Former Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra Ajit Pawar said- These claims that he left the NCP meeting and left the stage as he was not allowed to speak. During this, Ajit Pawar left the meeting in the presence of party supremo Sharad Pawar.

Ajit Pawar said that Jayant Patil addressed the national convention because only the president speaks in such programs. He said that no one had stopped me from speaking. I went to the washroom. Can I even go out in the middle of the program? The media should report based on facts. I have come here to speak on the ongoing issues in the state.
The program was addressed only by Maharashtra's NCP chief Jayant Patil and Sharad Pawar. As soon as party leader Jayant Patil was invited to speak on the stage. Ajit Pawar left the stage shortly after that.
NCP MP Praful Patel had announced on stage that Ajit Pawar would speak before Sharad Pawar's closing remarks. But when the time came, the former Deputy Chief Minister was missing from there. Shortly after, when Ajit Pawar returned to the meeting, party supremo Sharad Pawar started delivering his concluding remarks. Ajit Pawar could not get any chance to speak.
