Air India's warning- Employees should not spoil the image: If this happens, action will be taken, strictly after getting two iPhones from the pilot in the security check
Tata Group's airline company Air India told its crew members on Monday that it is important to take care of ethics during work. Also warned that if any such work is against the code of conduct of Tata Group and spoils the image, then immediate disciplinary action will be taken.
The airline has recently issued these instructions after two iPhone-14 were recovered from the pilot during the security check at Delhi airport. Custom duty of Rs 2.5 lakh was collected by Customs from Pilot on iPhone-14. At present, no statement has been issued by Air India on this subject.
The airline said in the instruction that we have received news that crew members are buying and bringing large quantities of goods from other countries to India, which is against custom regulation.
The company said that crew members are the ambassadors of the airline. They have to work with ethics. Air India issued the Tata Code of Conduct in May 2022 for its employees.
