In celebration of winning the Women's T20 World Cup trophy, New Zealand Cricket stated Wednesday that they would celebrate from south to north for 9 days. The team will take the trophy on a 9-day journey from south to north during this time, meeting fans at public events. At a celebration at the Novotel Airport Hotel in Christchurch, fans will extend a warm greeting to the world-champion women's team when they arrive on Friday afternoon. Along with special trips to schools and cricket clubs, team players will also engage with supporters at public gatherings.

New Zealand Cricket also declared that the ICC T20 World Cup trophy will be displayed in each of the women's matches over the summer in New Zealand. Stacey Geraghty, GM Marketing Communications, New Zealand Cricket said, "The Trophy Tour presents a great opportunity for the team and the public to connect and celebrate the first T20 World Cup win".

"The World Cup win is undoubtedly a landmark moment for women's cricket in this country and we are determined to make the most of it. Given the enthusiasm New Zealanders had following the win, we are hoping the public will come out to celebrate with the team, just like Kiwis supported the Blackcaps during the ICC World Test Championship Men's Tour in 2021," Geraghty said.

"The public events will also give fans the opportunity to get up close to their heroes, get photos and autographs, and of course, take a picture with the trophy. The White Ferns are really excited about this tour and the opportunity to inspire the next generation, as well as connect with fans of all ages and say thank you to the New Zealand public for all the support," she added.
