Telegram has refused to share account details or permanently ban accounts linked to the hacker.
In the process, Indian stock exchanges had sought clarification from Star over reports that the company was probing an allegation that its chief security officer was involved in a data leak. The company asked for "assistance" from Indian cybersecurity authorities in helping to identify the hacker.
