In the T20 World Cup 2024 Super-8 today on 25th June, there is a battle going on between Afghanistan and Bangladesh to reach the semi-finals. Afghanistan captain Rashid Khan won the toss and decided to bat first. Batting first, the Afghan team has scored 115 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Now the Bangladesh team will have to score 116 runs to win. But, as soon as Afghanistan's innings ended, it started raining. However, now the rain has stopped and the match has started. With this, Bangladesh also has a good chance to reach the semi-finals.

Afghanistan had a decent but slow start after winning the toss and choosing to bat first. Throughout the game, the Afghan squad appeared to be in a desperate attempt to get runs, and they eventually put 115 runs up for the loss of five wickets. Rahmanullah scored 43 runs in 55 balls for Afghanistan with the aid of three fours and a six. Rishad Hussain grabbed three wickets for Bangladesh at the same moment.

The Bangladeshi team can advance to the semi-finals if it reaches the objective in 12.1 overs. Australia and Afghanistan will both be eliminated from the competition if this takes place. They won't have it easy, though, as Bangladesh's batting hasn't been all that strong in this competition.

Now the question is that if the Afghanistan vs Bangladesh match gets washed out due to rain, then which team will reach the semi-finals? Let us tell you that in case the match gets canceled due to rain, Afghanistan's team will qualify for the semi-finals with three points.
