In this series, Adani Enterprises, the parent company of the Adani Group, has budgeted Rs 80,000 crore for various business initiatives in the current fiscal year. During an analyst call, Saurabh Shah, the Deputy Chief Financial Officer at Adani Enterprises, provided this information.
Adani Enterprises has made investments in the data center, airport, and renewable energy industries. According to Saurabh Shah, the company has budgeted Rs 80,000 crore for capital expenditures in the 2024–2025 fiscal year. This will be mostly used to grow airport operations and renewable energy.
He said there will be capital expenditure of around Rs 50,000 crore in renewable energy and airport segments. Adani New Industries Limited (ANIL) of this group manufactures solar modules. It converts sunlight into electricity and green hydrogen. Saurabh said that because of the Ganga Expressway, we will also invest Rs 12,000 crore in the road sector. The remaining amount will be spent in business sectors.
Adani Enterprises currently operates 7 airports in the country. It is building a greenfield airport in Navi Mumbai. The company hopes that it will become operational by the end of the current financial year. Saurabh said that with the addition of the new airport, there is a possibility of a huge surge in passenger traffic. Shares of Adani Enterprises (Adani group share price) closed at Rs 2,803.90 on Friday (May 10) with a rise of 1.37 percent. It has given returns of about 27 percent in the last 6 months.
