Three CISF commandos have been dismissed from service in connection with the security lapse of National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval. Apart from this, two officers of the rank of DIG and Commandant have been transferred. The officials of the Ministry of Home Affairs have given this information.
The case dates back to February 2022, when a suspect was trying to enter Doval's official residence in Delhi with a car. However, the security personnel present on the spot arrested him. After being caught, he said that his body has a chip and is being operated remotely. On investigation, no chip was found in his body.
The accused had reached the car with a red coloured SUV on February 16 at around 7.45 am. He told during interrogation that he is a resident of Karnataka and was driving a rented car. He was identified as Shantanu Reddy of Bangalore. According to the police, his mental condition was not feeling well. He was questioned by a special team of Delhi Police.
Ajit Doval lives in a 5 Janpath bungalow in Lutyens' Zone, the safest area of ​​Delhi. Earlier, former Prime Minister Inder Kumar Gujral lived here. There is also a bungalow of Congress President Sonia Gandhi and former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh near Doval's bungalow. Doval has got Z+ category security. They are guarded by CISF commandos.
After the terrorist attack in Pulwama in 2019, at the behest of the government, Doval had planned a surgical strike to teach a lesson to Pakistan. After on 26 February 2019, fighter planes of the Indian Air Force crossed the LoC and destroyed the terrorist bases in Balakot.
It is also famous about Doval that he had been a spy in Pakistan for about 7 years. Apart from this, he also played an important role in Operation Blue Star and Blue Thunder.
