ACS angry on writing outside medicines-test: Said- If such complaints are received in the districts

Action can be taken if any doctor prescribes medicines or tests from outside to the patients coming to the government hospitals of other districts of the state including Jaipur. Not only this, if any complaint comes at a higher level in this matter, strict action will be taken on it. This was stated by Shubhra Singh, Additional Chief Secretary, Medical Education Department, in the feedback meeting at Swasthya Bhawan today late evening.
Taking feedback from all the Chief Medical and Health Officers (CMHOs) and Deputy CMHOs present in the meeting, he said that the government has sufficient stock of essential medicines and most of the tests are being done in every district hospital or sub-district hospital. Even after that, in many districts, medical officers or doctors are prescribing medicines from outside to the patients and also get them checked. In such a situation, what is the justification for getting medicine from outside and getting the patient examined from outside? He said that if any such complaint is received in the future, strict action will be taken against the concerned.
Mission Director NHM Dr. Jitendra Kumar Soni, Joint Chief Executive Officer Gaurav Saini, Director Public Health Dr. Ravi Prakash Mathur, Director Non-Gazetted Suresh Naval, and many officers were present in the meeting on this occasion.
In the meeting, the ACS spoke to the CMHOs of all the districts who have been made in charge of the new districts. He directed all those officers to find land for the CMHO office, and District Hospital as soon as possible and prepare the proposal. Along with this, he asked to use the RMRS fund for the expansion of facilities related to public interest in government hospitals, so that people do not face any problems.
