A great feature is coming in WhatsApp, AR support will be available soon

Meta is going to release a new feature for its WhatsApp, after which users will be overjoyed. It is reported that WhatsApp will now get the support of augmented reality (AR), which will double the experience of the users.

According to the report of WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is testing the AR feature on the beta version of Android. The version number of the beta version on which testing is being done is 2.24.13.14. The beta version can be downloaded from the Google Play Store.

Users will be able to utilise a variety of filters and effects during video calls once AR functionality is implemented. A screenshot of the new functionality, showing AR effects, has also surfaced.

Users can apply dynamic facial filters during video calls thanks to AR effects. Many other sorts of light effects will be accessible following the upgrade. WABetaInfo also stated in its report that WhatsApp is working on another feature that will allow users to change the background of video calls.
