Heeraben Modi, who turned 99 this year in June, was recently taken to an Ahmedabad hospital. Her status is stable, according to a statement from the UN Mehta Institute of Cardiology and Research Center. Other details have not been disclosed by the hospital.

Gujarat MLAs for the BJP Darshanaben Vaghela and Kaushik Jain have arrived at the hospital.
