Mumbai Indians have announced that the tenure of bowling coach Shane Bond has ended. Shane Bond was a part of the franchise for 9 years. The franchise won four IPL titles under Bond, who joined Mumbai Indians in 2015 as their bowling coach. Apart from this, he has played the role of head coach of MI Emirates in ILT20.

Shane Bond, one of the best fast bowlers of his generation, had an artist-like approach to bowling. Shane Bond said in his statement, "I would like to thank the Ambani family for giving me the opportunity to be a part of the Mumbai Indians family for the last 9 seasons. It was a great experience and a lot of memories were made on and off the field. I was fortunate to work well with the players and staff and built strong relationships. I will miss them all and wish them all the best for the future. Thanks to MI Paltan who always supported me.

Shane Bond had an excellent stint as the bowling coach with Mumbai Indians. He joined the franchise in 2015 and was a part of the title wins in 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2020. Shane Bond was one of the greatest coaches in the history of the franchise. Shane Bond served as the Head Coach of MI Emirates in the inaugural season of the ILT20, where he helped impart the experience of international players to the local domestic players.

By the way, it is not yet known what Shane Bond is going to do in his next innings. Apart from this, before the next season of IPL, Mumbai Indians will also be looking for a new bowling coach. It will be interesting to see who will be able to play this role well after Shane Bond. However, Mumbai Indians team failed to reach the final of IPL 2023.
