6 new cities will get air connectivity from Jaipur: Flights will fly to Bareilly, Nagpur, Ranchi, Patna

Direct flights will operate from Jaipur International Airport to 6 cities in the country from next month. Apart from 6 domestic flights, a new international flight can also be added to the schedule. The complete details of these flights from Jaipur airport will be released in the schedule of the summer season to be released at the end of this month.
According to airport officials, new flights connecting Jaipur to Bareilly, Belgaum, Pant Nagar, Nagpur, Ranchi and Patna are likely to start in the coming summer season. Apart from this, a new international flight can also start in Kuala Lumpur. Indigo, Star Air and Air Asia have proposed to operate these flights. However, the full details of when these flights will start and their timing have not yet been released and it is likely that these flights will be included in the summer schedule to be released at the end of this month.
The state government has announced to reduction of VAT on air fuel from 26 percent to 2 percent in the coming budget. With this announcement, the movement of flights to other cities including Jaipur will increase. Because air fuel will be cheaper after VAT reduction. For this reason, many airline companies can route their flights through Jaipur, Jodhpur or Udaipur.
Presently around 62 flights are operating daily from Jaipur airport. This includes flights to Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Pune, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad and many other cities including Indore, and Amritsar. Apart from this, international flights are also going from Jaipur to Dubai, Sharjah, Muscat, Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur.
