Bajaj has officially launched Freedom 125 CNG in the Indian market. This hybrid two-wheeler can be run with both petrol and CNG fuel options. Let's know about the 5 things that make it special.

Freedom 125 CNG has been given a great commuter design. It is a 125cc motorcycle and its simple styling includes elements like a round headlight (LED for the top-spec and mid-model, and halogen for the base model), a long single-piece seat, and an upright rider triangle.

Bajaj has equipped the Freedom 125 with LED illumination for both the Disc LED and Drum LED variants. The base trim employs halogen lamps. The Disc LED trim also features a reverse LCD with smartphone connectivity. The other two types have LCD displays but no connectivity functions. CBS is installed on all Freedom 125 models for added safety. It also gets a switch to convert from petrol to CNG.

The Bajaj Freedom is equipped with a 125cc, air-cooled single-cylinder engine. It generates 9.37bhp @ 8000rpm and 9.7Nm at 5,000rpm and features a 5-speed transmission. According to Bajaj, the Freedom 125 can travel around 330 kilometres on a single charge thanks to its 2-litre fuel tank and 2kg CNG cylinder.

It gets conventional telescopic front forks and mono-shock. Even the 17-inch front and 16-inch rear wheels are common across the range, but the base model uses 80/90 front and 80/100 rear tires.

The drum model of the Bajaj Freedom 125 is priced at Rs 95,000. Apart from this, the drum LED and disc LED are priced at Rs 1.05 lakh and Rs 1.10 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
