One 32-year-old man from Andhra Pradesh was also killed in the incident. The deceased has been identified as Dasari Gopikrishna, hailing from Bapatla district. Bapatla Gopikrishna went to America only eight months ago.
He worked at the Mad Butcher grocery store in the small town of Fordyce, Arkansas. The shootout, which occurred two days ago, claimed the man. Four were killed and nine injured when the gunman opened fire inside the store and in the parking.
The attacker is then seen on the CCTV footage walking into the store and firing at the person at the counter. The victim fell to the ground after being shot. Simultaneously, the gunman jumps over the counter, picks something up from the shelf, and runs away.
According to police reports, Gopikrishna, who was at the billing counter, suffered severe injuries due to the bullet. The next day, he was taken to the hospital and passed away.
Family members were informed about the death of Gopikrishna. His family rejoiced in Yajali of Karlapalem Mandal of Bapatla district and started crying after hearing this news. His wife and a son survive Gopikrishna.
