Mahindra is getting ready to release the 5-door variant of the Thar in the Indian market. The company has confirmed its launch on August 15 and it will be retailed as the Thar Roxx. The new Thar 5-door can come with a panoramic sunroof, although this could not be ascertained from the spy shots so far. Well, the latest pictures of the production-ready Mahindra Thar Roxx have finally confirmed that it will feature a panoramic sunroof.

The interior of the Thar Roxx will feature more space and be more high-tech than before. It could get a dual-screen setup for better experiences. It will have a large 10.25-inch touchscreen in the center, similar to that used on the XUV700 and XUV3X3, which is going to come with some advanced connectivity and entertainment features on offer with the AdrenoX system.

The 360-degree camera has turned out to be a very popular feature of late, and many carmakers have equipped their products with it. This can be expected in the Mahindra Thar ROXX, too. Touted for improved mobility and parking, especially when the going gets tough in both urban and off-road situations.

Further enhancement of technical capabilities is expected through the inclusion of Level-2 Aidas in the Mahindra Thar Roxx. Weeks ago spy shots revealed that the Thar rocks camera-based ADAS components. However, no words are said regarding whether the production model will follow either camera or radar-based or both technologies.
