Shivamogga Police has arrested 3 suspects in Karnataka. Police said all three were linked to ISIS. They were planning to explode in the state. The suspects have been identified as Sharik, Maji and Syed Yasin. A case has been registered against the trio under various sections of the IPC and the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA).
Police say that the three arrested suspects work for ISIS. They were planning to carry out blasts in the state on the instructions of the terrorist organization. For this, he had taken training from terrorists. Earlier, he was successful in his plans, but the police caught him.
Home Minister Araga Janendra said that the police had raided after getting information from the sources. During this, the police arrested two suspects associated with the terrorist organization ISIS. After interrogation, the police arrested the third accused. All three are residents of Shivamogga and Tirthahalli and belong to Mangaluru.
According to media reports, the leader of the organization Yasin has also been arrested, he is being questioned. Yasin is an electrical engineer by profession.
