Bihu Attack: A Story of Assam’s Cultural Soul

The film stars Dev Menaria , Daisy Shah, Arbaaz Khan, and Rahul Dev in prominent parts. The narrative is further strengthened by impactful performances from Raza Murad, Yukti Kapoor, Amiee Misobbah (Amiee Nazma Sultana), Hiten Tejwani, Mir Sarwar, Dimpu Baruah, Kalindri Das, Crosswell Timung, Jeet Raidut, and Amit Lekhwani, all playing important roles that add depth and authenticity to the story.

Bihu Attack tells the story of Raj Kunwar, a courageous and determined court martial officer from Assam, who dedicates his life to persuading various terrorist groups in the region to surrender and join the mainstream. A firm believer in education and social integration, Raj works closely with local communities, striving to build trust and guide misguided youth back into the system.

A widower living with his young daughter Driti, Raj Kunwar is admired for his inclusive outlook and rare ability to connect with people from all walks of life. However, his mission takes a dangerous turn when intelligence reports reveal a major terrorist attack planned during the Bihu Festival, coinciding with the visit of the Defence Minister to Assam.

Speaking about the film, producer Prabir Kanta Saha said: “Bihu Attack is very close to my heart. Through this story, we wanted to show that education, unity, and humanity are stronger than fear and violence. This film is our tribute to the brave forces and the spirit of Assam.”
