2024 Mercedes-Benz EQA will be launched in the Indian market on July 8, know the features
The 2024 Mercedes-Benz EQA will go on sale on July 8 and will strengthen the brand's EQ family by becoming the fourth model after the EQE EQS and EQB. Inside the cabin, it gets a new three-spoke steering wheel with capacitive controls, new trim pieces on the dashboard and doors with illuminated Mercedes logos and twin 10-inch screens with the latest MBUX operating system as standard.
Mercedes-Benz has refreshed its entry-level electric compact crossover EQA. This includes styling, equipment, and other updates, which are similar to the larger EQB that will be launched globally in early 2023.
The overall styling elements are consistent with other Mercedes models, including the signature star pattern front grille, aero-optimized bumpers, and a 3D light signature at the rear. These changes bring the EQA closer to the larger Mercedes-Benz EVs in the EQ lineup.
Inside, it gets a new three-spoke steering wheel with capacitive controls, a new dashboard and door trim with illuminated Mercedes logos, and twin 10-inch screens with the latest MBUX operating system as standard. Three different styles can be used to personalize the screens. Additionally, the EQA is more efficient than the previous global model. It also gains improved aero efficiency, rolling-resistance tyres, and a new range-extension mode.
The EQA comes with a WLTP-rated range of 560 kilometers using a 70.5 kWh battery pack in its EQA 250+ trim. The EQA 250, EQA 300 4Matic, and EQA 350 4Matic are sold with a smaller 66.5 kWh battery unit in international markets. Both batteries support DC fast charging up to 100 kW.
The FWD electric motor in the EQA 250 and EQA 250+ variants produces 188 hp, while the twin e-motors in the AWD EQA 300 4Matic and EQA 350 4Matic produce a combined output of 225 hp and 288 hp respectively.
The 2024 Mercedes-Benz EQA will go on sale on July 8 and will strengthen the brand's EQ family by becoming the fourth model after the EQE, EQS, and EQB. It will rival the Volvo XC40 Recharge and BMW iX1 locally.
