2024 Audi A6 e-tron unveiled, all-electric avatar to be seen for the first time
The Audi A6 e-tron has been given a modern design. It has split headlamps similar to the Q6 e-tron with sleek upper LED DRLs. Talking about dimensions, it is 4928 mm in length, 1923 mm in width, and 1527 mm in height. The Audi A6 e-trone has a foldable display with an 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.5-inch central infotainment screen running on Android-based OS.
Audi has boosted its electric vehicle fleet by unveiling the A6 e-Tron in Sportback and Avant body formats. Based on this, these new models will be based on the PPE architecture developed jointly with Porsche for the next generation of premium electric vehicles. This is an update from Audi, stating that odd-numbered models will be ICE while even-numbered models have a scheduled EV.
It has been given a modern design—equipped; the Audi A6 e-tron gets split headlamps like the Q6 e-tron, along with sleek upper LED DRLs. These LEDs are customizable in nature and give advanced lighting options when combined with the Audi feature of Matrix Beam.
On the dimension front, it measures 4,928 millimeters in length, 1,923 millimeters in width, and 1,527 millimeters in height. Cabin space on the A6 e-tron is ample, with a 27-litre front trunk (frunk) and a 502-litre rear boot. Its standard 19-inch wheels can go up to 21 inches.
The Audi A6 e-tron offers 11.9-inch digital instruments—with a foldable display—and a more imposing 14.5-inch central infotainment screen working on an Android-based OS. Then there is a separate 10.9-inch screen for the front passenger to avoid the driver's distraction. It also has a head-up display with augmented reality and AI-supported Audi Assistant for voice commands.
The interior is clad in a combination of fabric, satin silver, and gloss black finishes. Others include a 20-speaker Bang & Olufsen surround sound system, ADAS suite, powered tailgate, 360-degree camera, and panoramic glass roof.
In total, the Audi A6 e-tron is available globally in three variants. These lineup variants include a base RWD with 282 bhp, the Performance RWD producing 362 bhp, and a top-of-the-line Quattro AWD variant that produces 422 bhp. Apart from these, the high-performance versions of the Audi S6 e-tron make up to 543 bhp with Quattro AWD and launch control.
