20-year-old girl dies after eating Biryani: Ordered online, died of food poisoning

A 20-year-old girl died of food poisoning in Kasaragod, Kerala. According to the news agency PTI, Anju Sriparvathy, a resident of Perumbala, had ordered Kunzhimathi, a variety of biryani, online from a restaurant named Romania on December 31. She fell ill after eating it. He was admitted to the hospital. He died on Saturday morning during treatment.

State Health Minister Veena George has ordered an inquiry into the incident. George said in Pathanamthitta that instructions have been issued to the Food Safety Commissioner to submit a report regarding the incident. He told me that the license of the restaurant would be cancelled on the charge of delivering bad food.
On Wednesday, a similar case came to light in Kottayam, Kerala, where a nurse died after consuming food at the medical college. According to the information, the nurse had ordered food from a restaurant in Kozhikode. After eating she fell ill. He died during treatment. At the same time, after the incident, the Food Safety Department closed 40 hotels. While 62 restaurants were fined. At the same time, on December 29, around 21 people fell ill after allegedly having food at a restaurant in Kozhikode.
Last week, more than 100 people became victims of food poisoning after consuming food at a function in Pathanamthitta, Kerala. In this case, the police registered a case against the catering service and started the investigation. Food samples were collected after the incident. He was sent for investigation. According to officials, the Health Minister has sought a detailed report on the matter.
