John Cena, 16-time world champion, has announced his retirement from WWE. John Cena made the news at the Money in the Bank Premium Live event in Toronto. Where he made an unexpected appearance. He was wearing a new T-shirt that said, "The Last Time is Now." He is now set to participate in WWE Raw's Netflix premiere, Royal Rumble 2025, Elimination Chamber 2025, and WrestleMania 41.

John Cena has had a Hall of Fame career in WWE. Since his debut in the company in 2002 when he answered Kurt Angle's open challenge during an episode of SmackDown in June, Cena quickly adopted the 'Doctor of Thuganomics' persona, which made him an instant hit among fans and he won the WWE Championship for the first time in his career.

John Cena has since won 13 WWE titles, the World Heavyweight Championship three times, and the Royal Rumble twice. Cena has adopted a reduced role in WWE over the years due to Hollywood commitments.

John Cena has taken time out of his schedule to appear in WWE and also traveled to India for the first time in his career last year. Cena's last appearance in WWE before Sunday was during the main event of WrestleMania 40 when he joined the match between Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes.
