14 terrorists of Pakistani terrorist organization Al Qaeda arrested, network was spread from UP to Rajasthan, Jharkhand
14 terrorists of Pakistani terrorist organization Al Qaeda have been arrested. Their network was spread from Uttar Pradesh to Rajasthan and Jharkhand. Delhi Police's Special Cell conducted an operation in collaboration with Jharkhand Rajasthan and UP Police to catch the terrorists. Six terrorists have been arrested from Bhiwadi in Rajasthan and eight terrorists from Jharkhand and Uttar Pradesh.
A Special Cell of Delhi Police, in coordination with Jharkhand, Rajasthan, and UP Police, arrested 14 terrorists from the Pakistani terrorist group Al Qaeda. All were members of the affiliate module of Al Qaeda.
Dr. Ishtiaq, a resident of Ranchi, was its chief. He was making an effort to draw in an affiliate to organize terrorist activities within the country by declaring Khilafat. Members of this module have been given weapons training at various places.
According to SK Sinha, additional police commissioner of Special Cell, one of the arrested, Pramod Singh Kushwaha, said the cell has arrested 6 terrorists who were taking training in handling weapons from Bhwadi with the help of the Rajasthan Police. Eight terrorists have been arrested from the 2 places in collaboration with the Jharkhand and UP police.
The police say that the operation is still going on in different states. More terrorists can be arrested. Police have recovered weapons, ammunition, and other objectionable documents from many places. So far, raids have been conducted at 15 different places in Ranchi, one in Rajasthan, and one in Aligarh.
