13 Tamil Nadu BJP leaders join AIADMK: Said- the situation in the party is not normal, BJP accuses AIADMK of breaking the alliance
Thirteen office-bearers of the BJP in Tamil Nadu on Wednesday resigned from the party and joined its ally AIADMK. All these leaders are associated with the BJP IT wing. On the other hand, Anbarasan, the district president of the IT wing, while resigning from the party on Wednesday said, 'I have worked for the BJP for years. People know that I never aspired for any post. For the last few days, nothing is right at the party. In view of the unusual situation, I have decided to resign from the party.
According to media reports, BJP workers protested against AIADMK chief Palaniswami and accused him of violating the coalition dharma. Whereas AIADMK has denied these allegations.
Prior to this, five BJP leaders had resigned on Sunday itself, including IT Wing Chief CTR Nirmal Kumar. Nirmal had accused Annamalai of having a secret pact with the DMK minister. Shortly after this, he resigned from the party. He then met AIADMK Chief Palaniswami and joined the party.
In a social media post, Nirmal also accused the state leadership of the party of ignoring party workers and conducting surveillance against many people at Annamalai.
However, on Thursday, he said on leaving the party, 'No one has hunted me down'. This is my decision. Joining a party is not poaching or shopping. It is a feeling.'
Meanwhile, BJP state president Annamalai said that BJP leaders have joined AIADMK, which is an unfortunate thing. The Dravidian politicians here who think that they are running big parties, want to make BJP an easy target and develop their party. This only shows that the BJP is moving forward in the state.
On this statement of Annamalai, AIADMK IT Wing Secretary Ramachandran said that once BJP got fewer votes than NOTA. The answer to how the BJP MLAs won the 2021 election is that the AIADMK and the BJP fought the election as allies. AIADMK is the organization which won the election on its own. It is just a joke to say that to develop AIADMK, it needs people from BJP.
