100 FIRs for putting up posters against PM Modi: Posters found in the van that came out of Aam Aadmi Party's office, 6 arrested

Delhi Police has registered 100 FIRs in the case of putting up objectionable posters against PM Narendra Modi across the city. A case has been made against them under the Printing Press Act. Posters were also seized from a van leaving the Aam Aadmi Party office. 6 people have been arrested in this case.
According to the police, posters with the text 'Modi Hatao Desh Bachao' were put up in some parts of Delhi. These posters did not have the details of the printing press.
A constable of the IP State Police Station caught a person named Pappu Mehta while putting up the poster. 38 bundles of posters were found with Pappu.
According to Special CP Deependra Pathak, two printing press firms were ordered to make 50-50 thousand such posters and the employees attached to the companies pasted many of these posters from late Sunday night to Monday morning. The owners have been arrested for not publishing the name of the printing press.
Police said that the order to print the poster was received on March 17. After that these posters were given to different people to paste on the night of 19th March. The work of pasting the posters went on till the morning of 20 March.
According to reports, a similar case happened two years ago as well. When posters criticizing Modi were put up during the Covid vaccination drive in Delhi. Then the Delhi Police arrested 30 people. Whereas, 25 FIRs were registered.
